Steven and Magen

Sometimes, things we expect don't turn out the way we want. So what do we do? We improvise. Make lemonade some might say. The best one could hope for is to find a mate who is able to do the same.

On their wedding day, the weather showed signs of rain and even began to sleet. It was in the hills near Oakhurst, family from all around had traveled and the weather looked unstable. But in the midst of uncertainty, Steven and Magen both came together and made lemonade.

Not many couples (from what I've noticed) are both able to possess such a great quality. The fact these two were patient, calm, and supportive, gave me the sense that they will have many, many great years together. So congrats you two!

Ben & Julia

There's something about love and the great outdoors that I find unexplainable. Each entail a journey into the known, but the real fun begins when you venture into the unknown. You find out a lot about yourself and if you're lucky enough, about someone you cherish most.

Ben and Julia are soon-to-be newlyweds and were in need of engagement photos. Knowing Ben from my college years, I gladly excepted and jumped at the chance when they mentioned Yosemite as they're destination spot. I get a kick from portrait shoots with couples in love, but adding Mother Nature to the mix, well, you can bet I find no greater joy.

Their wedding is in August in Mt. Shasta, so more photos from the glowing couple, soon to come!
